Hace unos años vi una película, que definiría como, deliciosa. Garden State, siguiendo un rollo muy al estilo de Beautiful Girls y ese tipo de cine americano independiente, arriesgado en el fondo pero no en la forma, me impactó por varias razones, pero sobre todo por ese momento en que la maravillosa Sam —interpretada por Natalie Portman— le pone los cascos a Zach Braff (que también la escribió y dirigió) y le dice:

—"You gotta hear this one song, it'll change your life I swear."

No sé si a Zach le cambió su vida, pero a mi, esa melodía, esa letra y la manera en que la canción pasa a un primer plano y ellos se quedan como formando parte de un cuadro, en esa fría y sideral sala de espera del psiquiatra, me maravilló. Descubrí un grupo y ahora los amo. Pero claro, también amo a Sam, así que...
